Valladolid is a small Mexican colonial town with several stunning cenotes nearby. We take you to our favorites, pictured here. This area of the Yucatan features deep profound cenotes with depths over 150 ft. One of our favorite cenotes has a giant rope swing for the more adventurous and dramatic hanging roots. Another stop is a cenote cavern with a giant disc in the center, and light rays amenable to great photos. Lastly, we take you to a hidden Mayan gem, like a big giant womb of Earth. A marriage proposal or two has occurred here in the past. Or, if you just want to do some shopping of artisanal crafts in Valladolid, we can stop there too. This is a choose-your-own adventure, with our driver and guide.
