The Experience

1. What’s Included in the Experience?

Each experience includes private transportation, a dedicated guide, and all the activities described in your itinerary. We also provide the necessary equipment for the activities, such as life jackets and wetsuits when required. Any additional inclusions will be clearly specified for each experience.

2. Can You Customize a Private Tour?

Absolutely. Since all our experiences are private, we can adapt them to your interests, schedule, and preferences. Whether you’d like to add an extra cenote, include a lunch stop, spend more time at a particular location, or create a completely custom itinerary, we’re happy to design an experience that fits your group.

3. How Long Does the Experience Last?

The duration depends on the experience you choose and can also vary depending on your group’s preferences. Each experience includes an estimated duration, but since our tours are private, we can often adjust the pace along the way.

4. Are the Tours Private or Shared?

All our experiences are 100% private. Your group will have its own private transportation and guide, with no other guests joining you. This gives you the freedom to enjoy the experience at your own pace.

5. What Is the Minimum and Maximum Group Size?

Our minimum is 2 people, and we can accommodate groups of different sizes depending on the experience. We’ve hosted everything from intimate private outings to larger celebrations, including weddings, birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and family gatherings.

For larger groups, we can coordinate multiple vehicles and guides to ensure everyone enjoys the experience comfortably.

Cenotes & Activities

6. Do I Need to Know How to Swim?

Not necessarily. Swimming is mostly recreational in our experiences, and we provide life jackets when needed. Our guides are always there to assist you, so guests with limited swimming skills can still enjoy the experience comfortably.

7. Is the Water in the Cenotes Cold?

The water in the cenotes is generally around 74°F (23°C). For experiences involving cave cenotes, we also provide wetsuits to help keep you comfortable in the water.

8. Are the Cenotes Suitable for Children?

Many of our experiences are suitable for children, but this can depend on the specific cenotes and activities included. Because our tours are private, we can recommend an experience based on your children’s ages and adapt the pace and activities to your family.

9. Can Bad Weather Affect My Experience?

Cloudy skies and occasional rain are common in the Riviera Maya and generally do not affect our experiences. We operate in light rain as long as conditions remain safe.

However, your safety always comes first. If severe weather, such as a major electrical storm, makes the experience unsafe, we may need to reschedule or cancel. If we are unable to reschedule your experience, you will receive a full refund.

10. What Should I Bring on the Tour?

We recommend bringing a swimsuit, towel, comfortable clothes, sunscreen, insect repellent, and a change of clothes. A hat and sunglasses are also useful for outdoor experiences.

We’ll take care of the equipment required for the activities, so you can focus on enjoying the day.

Transportation & Booking

11. Is Transportation Included?

Yes. Private transportation is included in our experiences, with pickup and drop-off at an agreed location. Since the experience is private, you won’t be sharing the vehicle with other guests.

12. Where Can You Pick Us Up?

We can pick you up from most hotels, resorts, vacation rentals, and private residences in the Riviera Maya area. During the booking process, simply provide us with your location and we’ll confirm the pickup details.

13. How Far in Advance Should We Book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially during holidays and high season. However, if you’re looking for a last-minute experience, feel free to contact us and we’ll check our availability.

14. What Is Your Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel your experience up to 24 hours before the scheduled date and receive a full refund.

If you need to make any changes to your booking, simply let us know as soon as possible and we’ll be happy to assist.

15. How Do I Make a Reservation?

You can request your experience directly through our website. Once we receive your request, we’ll confirm the details, availability, and next steps for your booking.

16. Can You Accommodate Large Groups?

Yes. We can accommodate groups of different sizes and can coordinate additional vehicles and guides when necessary. We’ve organized private experiences for families, friends, corporate groups, weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.

17. Can You Organize Special Occasions?

Absolutely. We can customize private experiences for birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, bachelor and bachelorette parties, family gatherings, and other special occasions. Let us know what you have in mind and we’ll work with you to create something memorable.

18. Can We Visit Places Away from the Crowds?

Yes. One of the advantages of booking a private experience with us is the flexibility to explore places beyond the typical tourist routes. We specialize in discovering lesser-known cenotes and natural areas, and whenever conditions and logistics allow, we can design your experience around quieter and more off-the-beaten-path locations.
